It is MONDAY!! Today is the Day to start your program!! For those of you who are dedicating themselves to this program, please try the first week program and then post a comment on how it worked for you and how you feel. Then based on how it is going on your level of fitness after the first week, the following weeks can be personalized for how your fitness level is feeling. I find that for a lot of people this is a great rate to progress at, because they always feel like it wasnt a lot of work for them, too much work = failure of any type of weight loss program.
I look forward to hearing your comments. :)

HERE WE GO!!
HELLO!!
I am sincerely sorry for the delay with the schedule! I am sure you are all awaiting what is in store for those pounds you want to shed! A few mommy issues appeared this week and I was unable to post, but here we go!
Hold on, sink in and have some dedication I know you will be telling me about your results within a few short weeks.
Monday (1st Week)
- Start out at a normal walking pace for about 5 mins
- After the 5 minutes, once you are feeling warmed up, break into a light jog for 30 seconds (this is where a run watch comes in handy.... if you dont have one you can use any timer that you have) after the 30 secs run, you will walk for 30 seconds and then repeat.
total time 25 minutes.
Tuesday - take the day off, however try to get out for a short brisk walk if possible.
Wednesday - Repeat Mondays schedule. If you are feeling as though this is too slow for your level of fitness, then you can bump the run time to 1 minute and keep the walk time at 30seconds. 25 mintues total max.
* The very first time I went out after my son was born I ran for 30 seconds and thought I was going to die, we are all very different. Now I can run 15 minutes straight.
Thursday - Off - walk if possible
Friday - Start your run at 1 minute and walk at 30 seconds. 25 minutes out max
Saturday/sunday - You can take the weekend off, or recruite one of your mommy friends or your spouse to go out with you and do a "free" run. Do your warm u walk and then start into a run, running until your body tells you to stop. Get your partner to time you and see how that compares to what you were able to do during the week.

Loosing FAT not WEIGHT!!
If you are trying to look and feel better, you may say that you are looking to loose weight when in fact you are looking to loose fat. It's not weight that matters the most when it comes to being healthy, it's the amount of fat to muscle that you carry. Eliminating extra fat or turning it in to muscle is a great way to improve your general health, wellness, and energy levels. Read on to learn how to achieve healthy fat loss by choosing the right diet and exercise combination.
The only way to be truly effective at loosing fat is through a combined approach of good diet and proper exercise. The other important ingredient is time. Fat loss is slower to achieve than weight loss and converting flab to lean muscle can actually add pounds not lose them. It's important to know that inch for inch, muscle weighs more than fat. This is not anything to be concerned about or avoid, but knowing this can help you avoid a surprises when you step on the scale.
A healthy diet is an essential ingredient in any fat loss plan. You must be careful to take in enough of the right foods to give you the energy that you require and avoid completely the foods that are nothing but empty calories.
Cooking with fresh foods and avoiding anything fatty, fried or sugary is a good rule of thumb. Complex carbohydrates like those found in pastas and baked goods are better avoided because they provide little in the way of nutrition but take extra energy to burn. Proteins, fruits and veggies and whole grains are healthy alternatives because they provide both nutrition and energy in an efficient way, leaving little excess to turn to fat.
Exercise plays an important role in healthy fat loss. You are trying to convert fat to muscle, so naturally you will need to focus on muscle building exercises like walking, running, cycling and lifting. How aggressive you are with your exercise in the beginning is determined by how much you can physically do.
If you are very overweight and out of shape, you will have to start off small and work your way up. Walking and swimming are good exercise choices because they are easy on the body and can be scaled up as you become more fit and able to take on extra exercise.
For those that are in good shape, running, cardio exercises (like aerobics), and weight lifting all make good choices for muscle building (and fat elimination). Joining a gym will give you access to equipment that target various parts of your body so that you can focus most on your problem areas.
With the right diet and exercise you can eliminate excess fat in a healthy way and have more energy to show for it as well. Motivation is key to success and you should choose a plan that fits in to your lifestyle so that you will see it through to your ultimate goal.

Why Diets Fails
You may have spent thousands of dollars on the latest diet plans, hoping you can lose some weight. You tried for days and it seems you are losing some pounds off initially but you cannot continue with the diet plan because it sucks to take the same food over and over again. You give up eventually and find that you put back the pounds that you have just lost.
The reasons why this is happening to you is because most diets does not make sense and here are the 5 top reasons.
1. Not logical for long term weight loss. Ask yourself a simple question, can you eat grapefruits or drink milkshakes daily for the rest of your life? This may be okay if you want to lose weight for a week, but for long term wise, this is simply insane and impossible for any healthy person to achieve.
2. Difficult to follow. Some diets are just so complex that would take a rocket scientist to figure them out. Calorie counting, carb counting, fat counting, separating the different types of fats and many others, how is anyone supposed to figure most of these diets out?
3. Become a job in themselves to maintain. Some diets practically require you to have your own chef, your own personal trainer, and your own planner on the side. Does this make sense?
4. Too expensive. Some diets requires you to invest a thousands for their initial start-ups fees, their cost of equipment, and for ongoing support. A lot of these costs are too expensive and do not make sense. A diet should not break the bank account!
5. Lack of goal setting. Some diet simply instructs you to take a miracle pill, wait and see what happens. To lose weight successfully, you need to have a written plan of your goals, some goal setting strategies, and know the steps you need to take in order to achieve those goals.
In conclusion, an effective diet plan is one that is suitable for long term weight loss, is easy to follow and maintain, is inexpensive and provides a good strategy and goal-setting plans.
